Pigbuligaan Multi-Sectoral Federation: A Beacon of Community Spirit and Excellence

In a stirring testament to the power of community collaboration, the Pigbuligaan Multi-Sectoral Federation of the 8th Infantry “Dependable” Battalion has been honored as the Best People’s Organization by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). This prestigious accolade was presented to Datu Nonilon O. Cacay during the Provincial Monthly Convocation held at the Kaamulan Theater in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

Founded in 2020 by JENNEL T. CABUGSA, who now serves as the Secretary of BUKAS KALINAW, Pigbuligaan has become a vital force in fostering community development and engagement. The federation, which boasts active chapters in Malaybalay and Impasug-ong, has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the values of unity, service, and progress.

The recognition by the AFP underscores the federation’s significant impact on the local communities it serves. In addition to the AFP award, Pigbuligaan’s contributions were further celebrated by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Malaybalay on April 8, 2024. During their monthly convocation program at the New City Hall, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, the LGU recognized the federation’s exemplary role in promoting community welfare and enhancing local governance.
